Tyler sticks with the Astigs

Andoy’s club almost didn’t make it during the registration period for Tyler wants to quit from Astigs. He explains that going to school is useless since he will surely fail his subjects again. Plus the fact that seeing Ilai in the same campus only brings back a past that’s best forgotten.

 

As it happens, Tyler and Ilai were best buds back in grade school. They were even the tandem to beat in basketball. But when Tyler messed up during a game, Ilai became mad, leading to a fight where Tyler bumped his head on the wall. Though the accident was not entirely Ilai’s fault, Tyler’s influential parents forced the school officials to kick Ilai out. The two were at odds since then but the experience affected Tyler more for he thought he became forgetful and dim-witted because of the accident.

 

However, all his worries seem weak compared to Andoy’s determination to save their club. Andoy vows to help him in every way as long as he doesn’t leave the Astigs. Tyler eventually agrees after weighing the benefits of belonging to a group once more. In truth though, Andoy’s intentions are not that pure for he plans to hold Tyler to their club only until someone else can replace him. This way, they will be more assured that Astigs wouldn’t be dissolved in case Tyler changes his mind again.

Later, Tyler finds out that Ilai is still holding a grudge against him. Worse, the latter challenges him into a fight with their respective gangs. Though Ipe, Galo, and Sean are a bit wary of what will happen, they are forced to join Andoy and Tyler in a clash with the school jocks right after their class! Can the glorified losers win against the popular boys in this mad face-off?
