I came across to this website…meron article sina aj perez at megan young…post ko na dito since…mga close naman sila kay lauren. Aj her loveteam, and Megan is her sister…

AJ PEREZ

UNANG pelikula ni AJ Perez ang Kasal Kasali Kasalo ng Star Cinema. Sobrang happy siya nang mapabilang sa blockbuster movie dahil nakatrabaho niya ang hinaha-ngaan niyang mga artista.

Masuwerte rin siya dahil naging part siya ng magandang project na ito na nagkaroon pa ng sequel titled Sakal Sakali Saklolo last year.

Isa sa mga matinee idol si AJ na kabilang sa cast ng ba-gong youth oriented show na Astigs with Enchong Dee, Chris Gutierrez, Angelo Patrimonio at Dino Imperial.

Bukod sa pagiging isang celebrity, consistent honor student din si AJ at aktib sa kanyang school bilang atleta. Binibigyan ng prioridad ni AJ ang kanyang schooling kahit busy siya sa kanyang showbiz commitments. Fifteen years old na si AJ nitong February 17.

MEGAN YOUNG

SUKI ng ilang TV shows si Megan Young bago pa siya naging Kapamilya ng Star Magic. Masaya siya sa takbo ng kanyang career ngayon kaya naman hindi siya nag-sisisi sa kanyang paglipat sa ABS-CBN from GMA-7.

Ang half-American, half-Pinay na si Megan ay mapa-lad na nabigyan ng mga pro-yekto sa Dos tulad ng Kokey at Abt Ur Luv. Hindi maka-lilimutan ni Megan ang unang sabak niya sa bakuran ng Dos. Ipinareha siya kay Pio-lo Pascual sa Star Magic anniversary sa ASAP at nasundan ito nang siya rin ang napiling leading lady para sa music video ng singer-actor.

Magiging part ng Astigs cast si Megan kung saan ipa-pareha sa kanya si Enchong Dee. 18th birthday ni Megan nitong Feb. 27.

The year 2008 is a leap year. If you look at a 2008 calendar, you will see that February has five Fridays–the month begins and ends on a Friday. Between the years 1904 and 2096, leap years that share the same day of week for each date repeat only every 28 years. The most recent year in which February comprised five Fridays was in 1980, and the next occurrence will be in 2036. February 29, the leap day, has been associated with age-old traditions, superstitions and folklore.

What is a leap year?

A leap year is a year in which one extra day has been inserted, or intercalated, at the end of February. A leap year consists of 366 days, whereas other years, called common years, have 365 days.

Why are leap years needed?

Leap years are needed to keep our calendar in alignment with the earth’s revolutions around the sun.

Brief History of Leap Day

In ancient Rome, leap day was on February 24 due to February being the last month of the calendar. The original Roman calendar added an extra month every few years to maintain the correct seasonal changes. The Julian calendar was implemented in 45 BCE, resulting in a leap day being added to the end of February every four years.
In 1582 Pope Gregory XIII refined the Julian calendar with a new rule that a century year is not a leap year unless it is evenly divisible by 400. The introduction of the Gregorian calendar was observed in some countries including Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain. The conversion took longer for other countries such as Great Britain (1752) and Lithuania (1915).

Tradition, Folklore and Superstition

A tradition was introduced many centuries ago to allow women to propose to men during a leap year. This privilege of proposing was restricted to leap day in some areas. Leap day was sometimes known as “Bachelors’ Day”. A man was expected to pay a penalty, such as a gown or money, if he refused a marriage offer from a woman.
The tradition’s origin stemmed from an old Irish tale referring to St Bridget striking a deal with St Patrick to allow women to propose to men every four years. This old custom was probably made to balance the traditional roles of men and women in a similar way to how the leap day balances the calendar.
It was also considered to be unlucky for someone to be born on a leap day in Scotland and for couples to marry on a leap year, including on a leap day, in Greece.

Aj on Lauren :)

AJ is being paired with Lauren Young. “Sobrang maganda siya,” wika ni AJ. “Sabay po kaming ini-launch ni Lauren sa Star Magic Batch 13. We really didn’t talk that much before kasi nagsisimula pa lang kami although we are friends but after two years, she’s my best friend in the show. Sa mga babae, siya ang pinaka-close sa akin.”

What do you like in Lauren? “She’s very simple. Unlike other girls, simple lang siya manamit. Plus we have the same interests. We like the same music. We both like the foreign band Fall Out Boy. ‘Yung gusto kong jacket, gusto rin niya even if panlalaki. We have many things in common,” says AJ.

Dito sa Abt Ur Love, silang dalawa ni Lauren ang pinagpapareha. But they are really friends. Ayaw muna ipasok ni AJ sa isip niya ang panliligaw. Mas gusto muna niya mag-concentrate sa pag-aaral.

“Bata pa naman kami, she’s 13 and I am 14,” sagot ni AJ who’s a freshman student at La Salle Greenhills. Matangkad din siya for his age as he stands 5’9” tall.

How old is Lauren Young???

Hello!!!

Di ko talaga masabi kung ilan taon na si Lauren ngayon…Pag kaka-alam ko eh…noong early last year…12 years old lang siya…eh ang birthday niya ay Nov 8…which means that turning 13 palang sya noong early last year….Now guess ko 13 palang sya at turning 14 this Nov 8. Si Aj at Empress kase ang alam ko matanda sila ng 1 year kay Lauren…mmmm but I could be wrong…eto lang naman eh yong guess ko..yong pag kakalam ko na age nya.Meron bang nakaka-alam kung ano ba talaga ang real age ni Lauren???

LoveSpell: Bato 2/24/08

starring Lauren Young, Aj Perez & Helga Kraf

The story goes like this…

Irish (Lauren) world isn’t perfect like any other teenagers. She doesn’t always get what she likes and she doesn’t like the things that surrounds her, like for example, her mom, who is a very annoying mother. She nags everytime Irish comes home late and her mother doesn’t like her to have a boyfriend yet. Then, there’s her friend Sheryl(Helga), who’s life is pretty much perfect. Sheryl’s mom is not bungangera like Irish’s mom is. Sheril’s boyfriend is loyal, and loving, “an ideal boyfriend”, unlike Irish’s boyfriend, who cheats on her.

To solve Irish’s problems, she found those magical stones in the river and when she whispers her problem to a stone and throw it to the river, her problem will go away because the river will takes care those problems for her. Irish is kind of evil girl, because instead of throwing those stones back to the river, she throws them to the people who will take over her problems. She turns over her problems to her friend Sheryl. Now Sheryl’s mom becomes an annoying mother, and her boyfriend cheats on her. That’s all Irish’s fault. She gave her problems to Sheryl.

When things are finally getting perfect in Irish’s life.

her boyfriend Rico (Aj) told her that he needs to go to the United States to bring his father who has an Alzheimer. Of coure, Irish doesn’t like the idea of her leaving by her boyfriend, so she goes back to the river and looks for one stone, but there’s no more stones left. The old lady that is..I guess the bantay of the river..tells her that she shouldn’t have done those ugly things to her friend because there will be consequences. Irish manages to take one stone out of the old lady’s hand and she wishpers her problem and throw it to the river but….she throws it to the river but it backfires to her. It seems that she threw the stone to the big rock that it hits her back to her head and the problem that she whispered..well she got it..she got the Alzheimer.

She ended up having the Alzheimer…..

Here’s my comment to Lauren’s performance in lovespell last sunday. Lauren did an amazing job in lovespell. I was suprised by her acting, even my sister saw her improvement and she was just fantastic. Like I said before, I would like to see Lauren in different kind of roles…like her character here. She was a bit evil here and it was my first time seeing her like that. I am so happy because she could be a kontrabida, and a psychotic person..I just love her. I wish they could give her more projects in the future and…different sides of Lauren. Lauren We ARE so Proud of you talaga….

NAMANGHA KAMI SA ACTING MO DITO SA LOVESPELL….AJ DID A GOOD JOB TOO….
